OUR MANIFESTO

Tortugas al Viento is a collaborative creation workshop focused on photographic, cinematographic and documentary work through horizontal processes.

This collective space is a living being that accepts the complexity that defines us as human beings and fights for the recognition of everyone involved in the projects. We believe in interaction, in reciprocity, in our personal processes, in the invisible threads that connect us as a whole. We love to feel through our eyes, and our dream is to create unforgettable and transformative projects that transcend us and make us proud. That’s why we bet on comprehensive, ludic, enjoyable projects, where every work reflects the effort and love that involves fighting for coherent, free, independent, and constantly evolving spaces. Our interest is life, what deserves to be named, and what needs to be seen in this sometimes-overwhelming Latin America reality we live in. That’s why Tortugas al Viento is a breathing space that bets on new connection ways, for honesty, solidarity and responsibility with every story we are trusted to tell. Tortugas al Viento works to pave the way for everything that lives in ourselves and can be useful for our universe. Tortugas al Viento is an invitation to be brave enough to believe…
